disney 102Thank you kindly for stopping by my blog! My name is Amy and I am an admirer of all things lovely, inside and out. I am a fan of anything and everything related to Anne of Green Gables and often times escape to the dream world of Avonlea. I aspire to be a Proverbs 31 Wife and “do good, not harm to my husband all the days of my life.” I get so much joy from cooking and baking, and thankfully my husband gets just as much joy from eating my concoctions! My dream is to have a large, loving family. I have a burden and longing to care for foster children and adopt. My husband and I were each other’s very first date to our freshman year’s Homecoming Dance. We were high school sweethearts and dated for 6 years before our dream wedding July 30, 2011. Everyday I feel cherished by my husband and every single day he makes me laugh. I am blessed beyond what I deserve and am thankful for the many blessings we have had bestowed upon us. Hoping, Praying and Wishing with all of our hearts for our baby Wales.

“But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” Romans 8:25

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12

  1. Thank you for coming by my blog! I am looking forward to following yours. I too, love Anne of Green Gables – and I got to visit PEI. Amazing! My heart also aches for foster children as well. Kindred spirits. God bless in your TTC journey!

    • Hi Kate! Ah! What a special dream come true to be able to visit PEI! If my husband and I are ever blessed with a girl, I would love to name her Avonlea (it might take some work to convinve my husband of this though!) Kindred spirits, indeed! Thank you for stopping by!

  2. My hubby and I were high school sweethearts! It is such a blessing having someone like that to grow old with. I couldn’t be happier knowing that we learned what adulthood was like together. We didn’t have to mush two established lives into one, we just were. Can’t wait to follow your story.

  3. So glad I have found your blog! Im in New Zealand and about to start our ICSI injections next week. The part I am most terrified of (other than the injections that I’m needle phobic of) is Egg collection so its been most helpful reading over your journey! Thanks for sharing x

    • Oh wow! How exciting! Everyone’s experience is so different, but its helped me immensely to read about others experiences! The worst for me is the unknown! I’m so glad I could be helpful! I am anxious to find out how everything goes for you! I’m hoping for beyond the best for you!!
